Canzine Toronto Festival 2016

Canzine is a Canadian festival of zines (indie magazines) featuring hundreds of artists, writers, publishers, and other vendors. I managed organizer Broken Pencil’s¬†Instagram and Twitter feeds for the all day event, preparing a strong digital strategy plan beforehand so that I could focus all of my attention on engaging with vendors, sponsors, and presenters during the event. I regularly updated Instagram and Twitter throughout the event, using popular hashtags, location tags, mentions, and apps such as Layout to curate posts. By the next morning, I’d increased the ¬†Twitter engagement rate by 77%; gained 10 new Twitter followers, and gained 30 new Instagram followers.
